Acacia Quilt Guild is a 501(c3) organization that is open to anyone interested in quilting. Our goals are to provide education about quilting, increase the skills of
quilters, and to utilize these skills to help those in need through our philanthropy projects. These projects include making quilts, pillowcases, totes, and more. We also
collect needed items (such as toiletries, school supplies, and toys) for other groups helping those in need.

1. Promote cooperation and exchange ideas among persons interested in or engaged in quilting.
2. Further the education and skill levels of the members of this Guild.
3. Preserve the heritage of quilt making and to educate the public as to the significance and history of quilting as an art form as well as an on going craft.
We have members who are retired but very active in the community. We have members in the business, education and political fields. Since we are a small group, it is
easier to get to know everyone on a personal level.
As a non-profit organization we welcome donations so we can make quilt items which support our philanthropic causes such as Thomas House, Quilts of Valor, Blocks
for the Brave, Camp Pendleton families, Book Bags for Babies, host Blocks for the Brave, etc.
